*i156, the 1817 marriage record states that Matej is the son of Lorenz Benischek and Marie Anna Benischek, daughter of Dionisius Benischek of Dvory. I am seeking resolution to this conflict. No other mention of Dionisius Benischek was seen, nor any more of a Lorenz m. to Marie Anna Benischek. Hopefully, Matej’s 1785/86 birth record will be found, determining his parents.
There were a few surnames besides Benischek at #33. Eva Moravec Benischek was a midwife so the priest might have used her residence to record infants born there, or laborers stayed on the farmstead which is jednoty — a stand-alone farmstead a little south of the village of Dvory nad Luz. There are several jednoty between Dvory and Lesni Chalupy and farther south, Nova Ves.
This data was extracted from the online Trebon Archive records of the Catholic church at Dvory nad Luznici ( aka Beinhofen & Nemecke), in several books. Not every record was read therefore there might have been more children, etc. than shown above. Most records are written in the old German script. I converted names to Czech spellings. i76 = image 76 online regardless of the page number in the original record. JN, Nov. ’08
